TAWoG Gumball's Epic Time Adventure Part 5

  Gumball wearing his new bracelet he got from Carrie and Carrie walking with her head down in shame walk home together.  Carrie feels bad about all the bad things that happen to him today but at the same time she feels happy she got to spend the day with him.  Gumball sees that Carrie is sad, so he thinks of a way to cheer her up.  "Carrie don't be sad…I had a blast today with you.  If hadn't come I would have been at home doing nothing but watchimg T.V.."

  "Do you really mean that?" Carrie replied.

  "Of course I mean it,  I would hang out with you all the time."  Gumball said with a smile.

"But you got hurt so many times, I thought you would hate me."

  "That's nothing compared to my usual injuries I get, remember my kara-te moves or Tina beating me up or the time Bobert tried to take over my life or the…"

"OK! I get it."  Carrie said with a smile.

  They pass by a park and they both notice the sunset in the park.  "Do you…want to…watch…the sunset…together?"  They both said at the same time.  They stop walking and look away from each other as they stand there in awkward silence.

  "Yes Carrie, I would love to watch the sunset with you."  Gumball breaking the silence.

  Carrie lightly giggles and her tail turns into a heart as she turns away from Gumball.  They finally find a bench that has the perfect view of the sunset.  They sit down together and start watching the sunset.  Gumball inches his way next to Carrie and before you know it Gumball is putting his arm around her.  Carrie gets startled by Gumball's action, but she likes the feeling.  So she leans on Gumball feeling his warmth once again.  She could hear Gumball's heart racing as she snuggles with him.

  After the sun has set Gumball notices that Carrie has fallen asleep.  He decides to give Carrie a kiss on the head before he carries her home.  When Gumball finally reaches Carrie's house he feels Carrie moving and mumbling in her sleep.  As he finally reaches Carrie's house he hears her say his name.  He leans in to hear better.  Carrie mumbles "I love you Gumball, we'll be together one day."

  Gumball whispering "Carrie…Carrie…sweetheart."  Carrie suddenly wakes up from Gumball's call.  She notices that Gumball is carrying her and they're at her house.  She rubs her eyes and gets out of his arms.  

  "Thank you Gumball, for watching the sunset with me and bringing me home."

  "No problem Carrie, I mean that's what a gentleman does for a beautiful woman like yourself."  Gumball said as he slicks back his hair.

  Carrie is about to tell Gumball how she feels about him.  Carrie opens her mouth about to speak.  "Gumball I have something to say…"

  "What is it Carrie."  As Gumball's eyes light up hoping to hear those famous three words.

  "I…I lo-" Mirabelle opens the door all of a sudden.  "Carrie! You're finally home! And who's this with you?  Hi I'm Mirabelle, Carrie's mom and you are?"

  Gumball awkwardly replies "Hi…I'm Gumball Watterson I go to school with Carrie.  Annnyywaaayys… bye Carrie I'll see you at school!  Gumball runs away as fast as he can.

"Sooo Carrie, is that the boy you keep talking about?"  Mirabelle said.

  Mom, SHUT UP! Leave me alone!  He's just a friend!  As she rushes to her room.  She then puts on her headset and drifts off to sleep listening to classical music while cuddling her gumdoll.

-Monday-

10 minutes before school starts Carrie is dropped off by her dad in the limo.  "Dad, why do have to take the limo every time I go to school?"

  "Don't you want to show off how rich you are?  I know you kids now a days with the flashy clothes, your thumping music, and your strange greetings."

  "UUUGGGHH, whatever I'll see you later." Slamming the door shut.  She starts floating to her locker then she hears someone calling her name.

  "Carrie!  Carrie!  Over here!

  She turns around and sees Gumball waving to her.  She notices that Gumball is wearing the bracelet she gave him.  She remembers yesterday and starts to daydream.  The bell rings and everyone begins to go to class.

  "Ok class, I have a project for everyone to do.  Everyone gets a partner, but!  I already chosen your partners so none of you can procrastinate with your friends."  Ms. Simian wagging her finger at the class.  Everyone groans in complaint of the assignment.

  "Now class you WILL do this with the people I assign to you.  You will go to your group once I called your name.  Now here are the pairs…Joe and Alan, Teri and Masami, Tobias and Molly, Penny and Tina, Darwin and Bobert, Gumball and Carrie…"

  Gumball walks over to Carrie's desk.  "Hey Carrie looks like we're going to be partners, what are the chances of that!"  

  "Yeah, what luck is that.  So Gumball I see you're wearing the bracelet I gave you." Carrie replies.

  "Well I just wanted to wear because I wanted to remember the super ultra extreme epic fun time we had yesterday."  

  "It was a nice day we had, anyways what should we do for the project?"

  "I don't know yet lets figure it out when we get to my house."

  Darwin calls Gumball.  "Hey Gumball!"

  "Yeah Darwin?"

  "Can me and Bobert use are house to work on the project because Bobert says his parents are crazy…sssoooo can we, pppplllleeeeaaaasssseee?"

  "OK! Ok buddy, you can use are house."

  "Yay, alright Bobert meet me at the front of the school after class."

  "Meeting you at front of the school, affirmative."  Bobert responds

  Gumball shrugs and turns his attention towards Carrie "Well Carrie, looks like we're going to your house then."

  "Ok…but I got to warn you my parents are a little weird."

  "What do you mean by weird?"

  "I'll tell you after school when we walk home."

-After School-

  "Hey Carrie! I guess it's time to go to your house, I don't think I've seen the inside before."  Said Gumball while they begin to walk to her house.

  "Well, Gumball I don't let anyone in my house, but you're going to be the first one to go inside my house."

  "Cool!  I'm going to be the first one to see the inside of your house.  You probably have cool old stuff like shields and swords and armor and-"

  "OK GUMBALL!  Don't jump ahead of yourself, just wait till we get home before you start fantasizing about it."

  "Fine."  Whined Gumball.  "Wait you said you would tell me about your parents remember."

(Sigh)  Fine I'll tell you, first off my parents aren't like me, they're…different than you would expect.  Like my mom, that's not the real her.  Basically both my parents are two-faced."  Carrie explained.
   
  "I'm still confused."  Replied Gumball.

  Carrie facepalms,  "How about I just show you instead when we get there."
